Hope Phillips
Hope is an experienced, visionary director who has worked on many projects previous to Mater Mortem. Some of her best work is showcased in her films such as Ticker, Disturbia and Clown; all 3 of which she wrote and directed. Her talents stretch to many roles in the film industry, from animation to film editing.

Fran Yepes
Fran is the foundation of the organisation between cast and crew members. sorting out locations, actors, dates for filming and much more the team would be lost without her.
DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY Leah Smith-Jagger
Leah has an amazing eye for framing and the detail behind the meaning of her shots. she has been the go-to D.O.P for many projects directed by Hope Phillips. Leah, Hope and Maya have all worked closely together for many years, and this shows in some of their amazing works such as Ticker.
SOUND DESIGNER/RECORDIST
Maya Russell-Baines
Maya is our well-experienced sound recordist and designer. Her skills shine through her ability to record sounds in order to design soundscapes that fit the genre she is working with. Maya particularly loves working with the darker film genres, and has done extensive research into the psychoanalytical aspects of sound in cinema which she has then in turn applied to her practical work.
EDITOR
Alex Timmins-Griffin
Alex is our editor, working on the final look of the film from cutting through to colour grading. Her skills can be noticed in her work on Bunker, as well as other projects such as music videos and promotional videos for companies such as Coca Cola. She has also stretched her talents into other areas, writing a film for the BFI called Everyday.
